Dear parents,

Congratulations! You are reading this page because your child is enrolled in the preparation process for the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation at Christ the King parish (Sudbury). The preparation process for this Sacrament is being offered in part on-line once again this year. This means that there will only be two face-to-face meetings to attend.  In additon, we invite you to work with your child in discussing the subjects which we will propse in the coming weeks.

Please note that the Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated at Christ the King parish on Tuesday evening, April 28, 2009 at 7:00 pm. In the coming weeks, we invite you and your child to prepare for this sacrament by

• reviewing information contained in the book Alive in the Spirit. Copies of this book will be available (at a cost of $10 each) at the first parent-candidate meeting which will be held in the church on Ash Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 7:00 pm.
• discussing the questions and reviewing the material in each of the six sections of the on-line preparation. You can find this information by clicking here.
• ensuring that your child submits the answers to the questions in each section of the preparation before the specified deadlines.
• helping your child to choose a Sponsor and a Confirmation name.
• attending the pre-Confirmation gathering for Candidates, parents and their Sponsors which will be held in the church on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
