1. Explain in your own words what is meant by the phrase "seeing with the eyes of faith".

2. Have you ever been somewhere and seen something that reminded you of God? Tell us about it.

3. Why do you think it can be difficult to recognize God's messages?

4. What prayer in your workbook Alive in the Spirit teaches you to preach the gospel and that God loves everyone?

5. Provide a sign or symbol for each of the following:

Where did it take place? . .
Who was there? . .
What happened? . .
What did they see? . .

2. Summer nights spent on Manitoulin Island reminds me of God. There is complete darkness except for the stars. it allows me to feel God's presence.

2. On my way to my cousin's house in Burlington, I saw all the fall leaves changing colours. It was an amazing sight and I thought this must be a gift from God to the people of the world.

1. Seeing with the eyes of faith means that you see what Jesus had done for
you, which helps us to have more faith in believing and to trust.

2. Yes, when we are at church we are reminded that God loves us and he is the
reason why we are here.

3. It gets difficult to recognize God's messages because we are so busy with
our lives. We need to rely on are families to help understand God. Going to
church is a good thing.

4. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ
died for our sins and that He was buried, and that He rose again

5.
in heaven, church
Holy Spirit, God our families
tongues resting on them, learn more about Jesus
tongues of fire, candle of light
violent wind, gods message
began to speak other languages, we receive the holy spirit

Amen,
Nick & Brian

1. I believe the phrase, "seeing with the eyes of faith" means looking through the eyes of God. I believe this because we have faith in god as he does us. So we are looking through his eyes.

2. One time when my mom and I were driving, a car was coming down the wrong side of the street at us. It was a scary encounter. We ended up passing them, then seen as my mother is a police officer she pulled a "U" turn farther up the street and went back up the street and found the guy. He was lost. It was a scary moment as we could have lost our lives as he could have lost his. God made sure nothing happened that day.

3. God's messages can be difficult to see because they aren't always visible. Also, there are some people who don't believe in God. So they may not recognize these things.

4. Psalm 30

5.
